 Toyota Corolla is built right here in Canada ? and it has been for more than 20 years. 
 Toyota has been selling Corollas in Canada since 1967 ? more than 1,000,000 of them. 
 Corolla is Toyota's best-selling automobile nameplate in the world, with more than 30 million sold. 
 The all-new tenth-generation Toyota Corolla was voted the best new car in its class in Canada.

 The starting MSRP of the 2010 Corolla is lower today than it was 7 years ago! 
 The current tenth-generation Corolla was designed in collaboration with styling studios in Turin, Italy, and road tested 
around the world ? including in Canadian winter conditions ? before going into production. 
 With combined fuel-consumption ratings as low as 6.7 litres per 100 kilometres, the current tenth-generation Toyota 
Corolla is one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles in its segment. 
 The 2009 Corolla went further on 50 litres of fuel than any other compact car in 2008 CanadianDriver.com's 50-litre 
Challenge. 
 With a 158-horsepower 2.4-litre engine, the 2010 Corolla XRS is a true performance machine ? and it still achieves a

·         Toyota began selling the Camry in 1983, and more than 9 million Camrys have been sold in the U.S. since then (nearly 15 million globally).

 

·         The Camry has been the best-selling car in America for nine years running, and 13 of the past 14 years. The previous-generation Camry was number one every year since it was introduced in 2007.

 

·         2011 marks the 25th anniversary of Camry production in Georgetown, Ky.  Toyota began manufacturing the Camry in Georgetown in 1986 and the vehicle is now also built in Lafayette, Ind.

Toyota and NASCAR

·         Toyota joined the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) and NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) with the Camry in 2007.

·         The Toyota Camry has won its three consecutive NNS manufacturer's championships (2008-2010).

·         In 2009, Kyle Busch captured a NNS driver's championship in a Toyota Camry.

 

Camry in NASCAR History

·         Toyota will partner with Daytona International Speedway for the new 2012 Camry to serve as the official pace car for the 54th running of the Daytona 500 in 2012.

·         The Toyota Camry has won 102 NASCAR races (38 NSCS, 64 NNS) since 2007.

 

Toyota in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) -- Camry

·         Kyle Busch earned Toyota's first win with the Camry in NSCS competition at Atlanta Motor Speedway (3/9/2008).  The win came in the Camry's 40th race in the series.

·         The Camry has 38 race wins and 30 poles in NSCS competition (through 9-15-11).

·         Since 2007, a total of 52 different drivers have driven a Camry in NSCS competition.

 

Toyota in NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) -- Camry

·         Toyota's first NASCAR win with the Camry came in the NNS when Jason Leffler captured the checkered flag at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis (7-28-07).

·         The Camry has 64 race wins and 53 poles in NNS competition (through 9-15-11).

·         Since 2007, a total of 70 different drivers have driven a Camry in NNS competition.

 

Toyota's History at Daytona International Speedway

·         Denny Hamlin claimed Toyota's first-ever NSCS victory in the second-of-two 2008 Gatorade Duels -- a qualifying, non-points event for the Daytona 500.
