Fares Micue is a photographer based in Gran Canaria, Spain. In Micue’s “One with Nature” series, she experiments with the idea of merging with nature.
In “Morning calm,” Micue captures the stillness of early morning: “As the world wakes up, that very second before the sun spread its light on every corner, I can feel the purest calm. I can feel the fresh oxygen exuding from nature. I feel alive. The blue color always gives that sense of calm and pureness.”
“As I self-portrait artist, I use the observation of my surroundings, personal experiences, and my own transformation to create conceptual images. I want my work to be viewed as a whole story condensed in one frame. My work is full of symbolism, and every element has a purpose. I want my images to give hope and teach people to appreciate themselves, love, dream, and believe that everything is possible if we believe it is.”
