Fares Micue is a photographer based in Gran Canaria, Spain. In Micue’s “One with Nature” series, she experiments with the idea of merging with nature.
The full title of this work is “She was happily dancing with the fire while her world was crumbling down.” Micue explains that the piece is about “the strength we must find to overcome the different challenges on our life.”
“As I self-portrait artist, I use the observation of my surroundings, personal experiences, and my own transformation to create conceptual images. I want my work to be viewed as a whole story condensed in one frame. My work is full of symbolism, and every element has a purpose. I want my images to give hope and teach people to appreciate themselves, love, dream, and believe that everything is possible if we believe it is.”
